Deputy Programme Head: PROTEC & Master Maths
What I do
I am responsible for assisting the Programme Head to administer the PROTEC and MASTER MATHS programmes. I am also responsible for teaching Physical Science in grade 11 and 12.
I joined Palabora Foundation on 1 June 2007.
What I did before
I matriculated in 1996 at Lwamondo High School.
Post-School Qualifications
- BSc degree (University of Venda)
- BSc Honours degree (University of Cape Town)
- I completed an Assessor Training Course in 2005 and was competent in the following modules:
- Design and Develop Outcomes-based Assessment
- Conduct Outcomes-based Assessment
I worked for five years as a Junior Lecturer in the Department of Physics (University of Venda).
I served as a Science Expo judge (Capricon region) and was also involved in the Teachers Upgrading Programme.
I participated in several science projects for helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds (Vuwani Science Centre).
A bit about me
I was born in a village called Hamutsha. I have a son, Ndivho, and my wife is Esther. My hobbies are reading, playing soccer, and socializing.
A day without laughter is a day wasted.
