Programme Head: Skills Development and Community Projects
What I do
I am the Programme Head of the Skills Development and Community Projects sections. Previously, I was a Training Officer in the Construction Carpentry Skills Programme where I performed, among others, the following tasks: planning and effecting training of learners; developing and reviewing learner materials as per Unit Standard requirements; developing assessment guidelines; developing assessment tools for each Unit Standard; assisting the learners with the development of their Portfolio of Evidence; planning the assessments; and, finally, assessing the learners.
I joined Palabora Foundation on 1 September 2004.
What I did before
I am in possession of a BA Degree and Diploma in State Finance and a trade qualification (Carpenter). I am currently studying towards Master of Business Administration.
I worked as a temporary teacher from 1986 to 1989, where I taught Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics and English in the following schools: Seolwana High School (1985-1987) and Kgapane High School (1988-1989).
I worked at the Department of Education in the Administration Division from 1990 to 2004 August, where I headed the Expenditure and Salary Divisions, respectively.
A bit about me
I was born and bred at Mamabolo Village around Polokwane where I started my primary and high school education. I am presently residing at Kgapane Township next to Modjadjiskloof in Limpopo.
I am married with three kids, two boys and a girl. I love children. I like to watch sports, soccer and wrestling as my favourite sports. I also like to watch TV, news in particular, and listen to SAFM radio.
