Tourism Officer at the Bollanoto Tourism Information Office

What I do

I co-manage the tourism information office in Phalaborwa by helping tourists and customers, assisting them with information and enquiries. My duties also include office administration, brochure management, product owner relationship building and marketing Phalaborwa.

What I did before

In 2003 I worked at the Kaia Tani Exclusive Guest House as a general assistant to the manager. From 2004 – 2005 I completed a Travel & Tourism Diploma with distinction at Gauteng College. After completing my diploma I worked for the Sure Group at Sure Turn Key Travel & Turn Key Tours as a Travel Consultant. In October 2007 I joined the Foundation and have since then been the Tourism Officer at the Bollanoto Information Centre

A bit about me

I love the bush and the wonderful little town of Phalaborwa. My childhood was filled with the sounds of the bush. I enjoy a good book and the beautiful African sky. I am very passionate about Tourism and would like to see the tourism industry in Phalaborwa grow to a force to be reckoned with.
